There are plenty of activities to get involved with such as local walks, day trips, mountain biking, metal detecting, photography, or just enjoy getting out of the house, having a coffee and a catch up with others.
There is help and support for those that need it, equally there is employment support and guidance from our DWP Armed Forces Champion.

Finchale Group have teamed up with the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust’s (AFCFT) Positive Pathways Programme (V3P). Our Garden Project which supports Veterans’ Mental Health and Wellbeing is funded by AFCFT working in collaboration with Sporting Force supporting the mental health and wellbeing of ex-Forces.
Our Veterans Team works closely with those leaving the Military ensuring successful transition back into society. Workshops cover creating an action plan for their discharge, next steps, CVs, Continued Professional Development, Learning and Education, Housing, Employment, Health and Wellbeing and much more, providing guidance and information.
